The Rite of Christian Initiation for adults, or RCIA, is the process in which non-Catholic adults learn more about the Catholic faith and become members of the church through baptism (place link to baptism page).
The process is also designed for Catholic adults who have not received the Sacraments of first Holy Communion (link) or Confirmation (link), and would like to know more about their Catholic faith.
The journey of faith has four stages:
